4 feb. 2012 I visited Das Scharf. An evening in which different artist showed their works. Most of them were visual artist presenting their short films or videoclips. Next to that was a small exposition of paintings and drawings.

It wasn’t the art that inspired me the most this evening. It was the way the event was presented and organized. The evening felt accesible  for everyone. You only payed €3,- to get in to the nice and crapy Berlin style venue. There was free popcorn and schnapps. afterwards off course there was a party. It gives you the feeling that everything is possible in this lovely city. It inspires me to just get out there and do it! If you have an idea you can do it. You don’t need a lot of money to do something. All you need is a place (there are a lot and cheap) some people and nice art to show. Right now i’m looking with some friends for a working space. This event inspires me to organize open evenings where people can come and show their art. Without high expectations. Without having to earn money. Just because we love art and creativity.
