finally winter!

When we moved to Berlin in August everybody was warning us for the cold and dark winters of Berlin. I was prepared and looking forward to the promised -25 degrees. But from November till February it was not even -1… No winter at all. Until the beginning of february. Finally winter. I love it! so beautiful, so fresh!

I break horses

I just love going to concerts. And i love checking out new bands. But most of the time when  i go to a concert i’m going to see a band i already know. Berlin has got so many venues where so many good live bands are playing. So now is actually the perfect time to check out some new bands. This month i decided to look at the concertlist of Berlin and listen to some of the bands at Spotify. If it sounds interesting just go to the concert. Monday 6 feb. we (me and Gwen) went to see I break horses in Comet. and WOW it was great. brilliant music with so many layers. I’m definitely going to repeat this way of visiting bands!

Midnight in Paris

A very sweet film from Woody Allan. We watched this film a few days after we came back from selling our house in Holland. I could really relate to the main character in this film. A lot of things are new. No regular job… no known network… Nothing / Nobody that tells me what to do except from myself. Automatically the questions coms up. “what do I want to do?” “What makes me happy?”
